He is McCoy Tyner, whose piano blues, sophisticated chords and percussive left hand have seen him transcend genres, labels and the frontiers between styles. An influential jazz pianist, he regularly teams up with the finest instrumentalists, such as Joe Lovano, a sax player and composer always keen to explore new jazz languages. Lovano is McCoy Tyner’s special guest tonight.
