One of the most visceral and shocking experiences of the Fura revives twenty-three years after its premiere to continue investigating the basic questions of life, from birth to death, with the personal language of the company.
Cultural diversity was the starting point of the show, premiered first in 1996. It would explore on all those elements that, despite the differences, unite human beings of different sexes, cultures and religions: birth, death, sex and nutrition, with a non-linear and discontinuous structure, the show proposes a mixture of emotions and situations that occur simultaneously and puts under the spotlight a series of intimate and private performances turned into a public spectacle. Actors and actresses recreate on stage those human attitudes that are usually hidden at home, in the bosom of a family or after the accomplice silence of a community.
The rhythmic and an essentially physical work serve to create a show without a precise plot which becomes a kind of ritual, a scenic experience especially suitable for the younger audience and those who seek different sensations from those provided by the more conventional theatrical shows. The most authentic and furera soul, is now recovered in a show especially aimed at new audiences who did not have a chance to see the first works of the company.
