Look at love through an imaginary microscope and you will discover that it is no more than a combination of hormones (dopamine, serotonin, oxytocin, etc.) passing through the brain. Carefully analyse a sheet of music and you may be able to reduce it to a set of especially harmonious mathematical structures. Yes, love is chemistry and music; mathematics, in spite of which, when we perceive them, we usually think of concepts such as magic and emotion. Love is not just a feeling that moves the world, but also one of the main sources of inspiration for artists in general and musicians in particular. For this reason, the show combines theatre with live music, served up by fifty musicians, including the members of a symphonic orchestra (the Orquestra Simfònica del Vallès), a pop and rock group formed for the occasion and various vocalists. We are guided on this journey by actor, director, dramatist and comedian José Corbacho, who is well-known by everyone who watches TV, goes to the cinema or is interested in the theatre, and by Ramon Gener, a musician and communicator who helped us to enjoy music on a variety of radio and television programmes.
They and the musicians who accompany them on stage will be speaking about falling in love and about passion, impossible love and eternal love, about couples and triangles... And all while we listen to music created through love along with thrilling stories about artists from various eras and the circumstances that led them to compose a certain piece of music. Wagner, Beethoven, Prokófiev, Bach, Verdi, and Mozart, but also The Beatles, Elton John, The Police and Beyonce are all heard on stage. Has your heart ever been broken? Have you recently fallen in love? Each moment of someone's love life has its own soundtrack. Come and listen to it in a show created with music and words which you are bound to fall in love with.
