The moods or emotional states that shape us as people form the thread in a lively, dynamic, eclectic dance show that explores the feelings or, what is the same thing, the "soul genes", to hip-hop, flamenco and other rhythms.
From the cradle to the grave. Over the course of our lives, we experience situations that thrill or bore us, that send us to heaven, or to hell… However, throughout this process, there are magical moments when people seem to get a taste of eternity, and these are the moments that inspire this choreography. L’ADN de l’ànima (“The DNA of the Soul”) explores the feelings that guide us and give meaning to life through the language of dance as performed by a group of eight hip-hop and flamenco dancers. They are accompanied by six musicians from different musical backgrounds who create the perfect atmosphere for transmitting the full range of feeling. The show was created by Mudit Grau, co-director and co-founder of Color Dansa, and Ramón Giménez, former flamenco guitar player with Ojos de Brujo, who seek to demonstrate that the meaning of life is, simply, to feel.
