Created in 1997, IT Dansa is the young company of Barcelona’s Institut del Teatre. Formed by 18 student-dancers, the aim of the company is to further develop their training, while at the same time giving them an opportunity to access the professional stage. Focusing on contemporary dance, the company has performed all over Europe, from the Holland Dance to the Bielefeld festivals and now brings to Teatre Ovidi Montllor a programme of works by leading choreographers: Kirí Kylián, Montse Sánchez, Ramón Baeza, Uri Ivgi and Ohad Naharin.
