The Teatre Grec hosts a party aimed at families. Come to spend an entire afternoon attending shows, listening to music and participating in games and workshops, in a three festivals’ proposal dedicated to children.
Perhaps children are the main recipients of the activities organized in a family party prepared by the Grec Festival of Barcelona this year whereby various companies and artists are involved. However, you will see that even adults will surely enjoy the Teatre Grec and the gardens surrounding this scenario. You will be able to visit the venue throughout the afternoon and find out the different areas with discovery and game spaces (land of Giants, of Efímer or Sonàrium, of of the Woodpecker), as well as a series of facilities that invite participants to enjoy literature through play and imagination. An hilarious parade with the ensemble Xarop de Canya from Margarida Xirgu square to the Teatre Grec (16 h), musicians and actors such as Roleguita and Boquerón (5 PM), Pep López (6 PM) or Natxo Tarrés & The Wireless (7 PM), or the unusual Micro-Shakespeareproposal, in which the Laitrum company converts the works of the English playwright into miniatures for object theater, will serve as a prelude to some concerts that will take to the stage of the Teatre Grec to The Pinker Tones (7 PM), Xiula (8 PM) and the show of The Penguins Reggae for kids (9 PM). Do you like painting? Well, you would have to meet Blanko, the immaculate character of JOHNman and maybe once in your hands will gain a little more color ...
These are some of the many activities and shows of a party-for-all-audiences that will turn the Teatre Grec into a small paradise for the children of the city. The festival is the result of the collaboration between the Grec and three festivals aimed at families: the FLIC (Children and Youth Literature and Arts Festival), the Petits Camaleons children's music festival and the performing arts festival El més petit de tots or the youngest of them all.
