Eva Perón

Eva Peron has reached the end of her days, but she refuses to die: she shouts, she insults all around her – her mother, her nurse and everybody else. Drama and black comedy are interwoven in this re-examination of Evita, portrayed here as a vulgar but extremely lucid despot. By taking the role of Evita himself in this production, Marcial Di Fonzo Bo adds an element of reflection about the actor and the act of performing.
