The collaboration among these neighbourhood theatres and the Barcelona Grec Festival began in 2020 and to date has produced experiences like the dramatised reading series chosen from those received in a public call for submissions. One of the dramatised readings staged last year is becoming a real theatre show this year, proof of the emerging talent in the neighbourhood theatre scene. This reading is Not My Monkeys by the Cia. 42Km, written by Manel Moreno.
The call for dramatised readings is being repeated in this year’s edition of the Festival. Take note, because some of those chosen may become staged productions in the Grec 2025 Festival de Barcelona.
