US indie rocker Mark Oliver Everett brings his band, Eels, to Barcelona on their European tour. Grec festival-goers will get a taste of what many in the know are calling the artist's most personal project. With guest artists Daughters of Davis.
Released in April, The Cautionary Tales of Mark Oliver Everett is the title of their latest album. Eels is not a one-man-band, although the only stable member is Mark Oliver Everett, AKA Mr. E, as the other musicians change according to the specific needs of each new project. This time around, the Eels main man, vocalist, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist presents what he describes as “an extraordinarily vivid and intimate document of a personal struggle”. The tracks on the new album include such titles as Agatha Chang, Where I’m From and A Swallow in the Sun, amongst others. The show provides audiences with a fresh chance to see one of the most influential bands on the North American alternative rock scene, one whose outstanding hits include Novocaine for the Soul.
Interpretació musical: Mr. E (Mark Everett), The Chet (Jeff Lyster), Knuckles (Derek Brown), Al (Allen Hunter), Poopbag (Mike Sawitzke); Artista convidat: Daughters of Davis ; Producció executiva: The Project;
