The queen of world music, one of the leading performers behind the fado revival of the 1990s…. We could say so many things about Dulce Pontes, but what is best, perhaps, is to listen to her rich, warm, emotive and – when appropriate – dramatic voice. Over a career spanning more than twenty years, this voice has bewitched audiences, aided by such songs as those on her latest album, Momentos. At Montjuïc, Pontes will perform a selection from some of her best-loved songs whilst also presenting several new numbers.
