Creative Catalonia is the framework programme hosted by the Catalan Institute for Cultural Companies to foster the Catalan cultural and creative companies worldwide.
The Catalan Institute for Cultural Companies (ICEC) is a public institution attached to the Catalan Ministry of Culture that aims to support, promote and foster the development of the Catalan cultural and creative industry: performing arts, music, books, audiovisual, video games and visual arts.
ICEC’s Market Development Department facilitates the access of Catalan cultural and creative companies to national and international markets. Via its network of offices around Europe (Barcelona, Berlin, Brussels, London and Paris) it works on a variety of lines of action funding, connecting, mentoring, advocating, promoting and supporting creative companies in their international activity
It coordinates and supports the strategic marketplaces and professional events taking place in Catalonia. And under the brand of Creative Catalonia, it strengthens the Catalan cultural and creative companies’ presence at international fairs and key events.
