The happy union between two great artists who fuse their enormous talents in the field of jazz and flamenco, and vice versa. At last, Chano Domínguez and Niño Josele have recorded an album together, and will now perform live at the Teatre Grec.
Chano Dominguez and Niño Josele were doomed to join forces. So many had dreamed of seeing them together. And this meeting has happened now, precisely. Not previously, not later. Two open, bilingual, trilingual musicians at the height of their artistic powers. Many things united them: flamenco, Bill Evans, Bebo Valdés... One from the Atlantic, the other from the Mediterranean, but both have trodden a path from jazz to flamenco and from flamenco to jazz. Now, joining forces, they have created something that goes one step further, something that we might call “21st-century classical music”. This is music from an age when frontiers dissolved, when labels counted for nothing, when music, sound, beauty and elegance triumph above all other considerations.
