The venue that hosts the functions of Manes will become a space for experimentation for those youngsters from 16 to 24 years old who wish to experience another way of living, conceiving and doing theater. Under the guidance of the show’s actors, the participants will keep a first contact with the action theater and with the collective creation, at the same time that they will get started with the fura language, namely, imaginative, provocative and young language by definition.
In the first part of the workshop, physical theater exercises will be performed in order to activate the body and put the mind in an open and perceptive position. In the second part, physical improvisations will be worked in group, starting from the four basic concepts of the work: death, birth, sex and feeding.
The name of Reptes/Challenges relates to a series of workshops and other artistic activities that require the active involvement and commitment of the youngsters who participate in them. It is a proposal that is specifically aimed at those who already have an entrance to the evening show but, in the morning, might want to delve into the subject dealt with in the show.
