Brahms, Tchaikovsky, Bizet... A repertoire of dances by these and other great composers will resound in a truly disconcerting concert. There will be good music, but there will also be plenty of humour and tender feeling.
The Municipal Band is a regular guest at the Grec Festival of Barcelona, performing from classical repertoires to contemporary cantatas, such as L’home armat (Grec 2012). This year, the band’s versatility and sense of humour is put to the test in a concert where surprises are a certainty. The band will make sure of that, as they team up with an actress who has both made Catalan audiences laugh and won their hearts a thousand times over: Lloll Bertran. If you thought that a symphony concert could not be an intimate experience, you are invited to this surprising show, one strikingly different from the norm. Come and see how classical music and humour can go hand in hand in an evening that Lloll’s magic and warmth will make truly unforgettable.
