Mortality and immortality, identity and transformation... These are the themes of a drama performed, among others, by actors, musicians and IT Dansa company, an altarpiece, full of humour and drama, about a hero from the Trojan War.
What if Achilles and Helen, the daughter of Zeus abducted by Paris, had secretly met during the Trojan War and fallen hopelessly in love? They are two beings of great beauty that are attracted to each other like magnets but find that theirs is an impossible love. A series of scenes, tragic and comic, in verse and in prose, transport us to one of the great moments in classical mythology. In the production, dance, live music and dramatic performances are interwoven to create a most unconventional narrative. In it, we become privileged spectators of the story of Achilles, an ambiguous hero in life, love and death. Two conflicting concepts of life clash in a production that combines the talent of Albert Mestres and the young dancers who form IT Dansa with the skills of two Norwegian artists: the choreographer Ina Christell Johannessen (who also stars in the dance show The Guest at the festival) and the composer Knut Vaage.
