Antony & The Johnsons

Just a couple of years ago, in the eyes of many, Antony & the Johnsons was a just a relatively unknown, weird-looking singer. Today, he is a highly-regarded artist capable of creating a disturbingly beautiful, melancholy atmosphere through his songs. Antony comes to Barcelona after achieving success with his second album, I’m a Bird Now, a song from which features in the soundtrack to Isabel Coixet’s film The Secret Life of Words, and singing on two tracks from Volta, Björk’s latest release. This summer, the singer is taking his band on a select European tour including dates in Barcelona, Istanbul and Moscow.
