Over six nights, the Big & Black Jamboree season presents three of the great bands that truly define this legendary jazz club in a program that also features two of the most outstanding black female voices in their respective generations and styles.
Anton Jarl, drummer with Los Mambo Jambo, Koko Jean & The Tonics and Myriam Swanson, is a jazz fan through and through. Now he pays tribute to Buddy Rich, a musician witnessed the transition from classical to modern jazz alongside such figures as Artie Shaw and Charlie Parker, amongst others. To do so, he teams up with the Original Jazz Orquestra del Taller de Músics conducted by David Pastor. A journey to the Golden Age of jazz.
