Tedium Vitae. Presentation of the exhibition project by On Mediation

The art exhibition Tedium Vitae explores boredom as an artistic catalyst. Both Tedium Vitae and General and Imprecise Indisposition: an Essay About Fatigue, curated by Martí Peran, are two sides of the same coin, two exhibitions that reflect the same problem from different points of view. Tedium Vitae does it with the flourish of the Croatian artist Mladen Stilinović, and through the work of several contemporary artists: Adrian Melis, Jaume Simon Contra, Marta Burugorri, Martin Llavaneras, Raquel Friera, Los Jambos, Sol Prado and Javier Peñafiel.
Tedium Vitae is a curatorial project emerging in the context of the second edition of the seminar on theory and curatorial practices, ON MEDIATION, directed by Anna Maria Guasch and Martí Peran, and coordinated by Christian M. Alonso, Diana Padrón and Olga Sureda. The seminar is part of the activities of the University of Barcelona research group AGI (Art Globalització Interculturalitat).
