Intersections between cultural practices and collective scenarios. In recent decades we have witnessed a growing displacement of artistic practices towards the social space, with the aim of transcending the classical notion of public art and opening up new zones of intersection between cultural practices and the collective scenario. This turnaround has led to a fundamental crossroads that forces artistic practices with a social vocation to pronounce themselves on whether they are contributing towards strengthening the established model of social cohesion (an integration ideal) or whether they should focalise their interest on the imagination and trialling of other communal models and constitute themselves as an example of possible instituent practices.
