Participation of the Can Fabra School and the Fabra i Coats Contemporary Art Centre at the International Conference on Art, Illustration and Visual Culture in Preschool and Primary Education

Marta Ortiz and Mariló Fernández, one a school teacher at Can Fabra and the other a member of the Living In-between curatorial team, will take part as speakers at the International Conference on Art, Illustration and Visual Culture in Preschool and Primary Education, which will be held on 29 June to 1 July 2017 in Donostia. The conference is organised by the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) and the Public University of Navarre (UPNA) in collaboration with the Mediation Department of the Tabakalera International Centre for Contemporary Culture (http://congresoarteilustracion.org/en/).

The aim of the participation at this conference of the teaching team from the Can Fabra School and the Living In-between team is to present, on an international stage, the education experience promoted by the Can Fabra School and the Fabra i Coats Contemporary Art Centre, and directly related to the art education project developed by the school during a term of the 2015-2016 school year and by the curatorial project of the art centre
