"Ballar l’esgotament" (Dancing exhaustion). At the foot of the work by Eduardo Fukusima Como superar o grande cansaço? (How to overcome the great tiredness?) (2010).

Eduardo Fukusima interprets exhaustion and at the same time exploits it as the driving force of movement. In the piece displayed, "Como superar o grande cansaço" (How to overcome the great tiredness), he uses an eclectic physique to create languages and strives what makes his body most uncomfortable. The artist performs his object-subject. Contact with the ground prevails.  Since 2005 he's been exploring oriental corporal techniques such as Japanese seitai-ho and Chinese txi-kung. He's also studied classical ballet, Brazilian dance, Angolan capoeira, release technique, contact improvisation, Indian dancing and artistic gymnastics.
