Living with peace of mind
Residential care
Residential care centres are designed to temporarily or permanently welcome people that cannot live independently.
Teleassistance service
The City Council teleassistance service consists of installing an apparatus in the home. This is connected to a central headquarters, with which the person can communicate in case of emergency, by pressing a button. It provides assistance for elderly people, and those with disabilities and/or dependency so that they can continue living safely in their homes.
Adapted housing
These homes offer elderly people safe, adapted housing and integration into the community.
Day Centres
The day-care teams provide assistance to elderly people during working hours (from 9.00h to 19.00h).
Supervised housing
Apartments that encompass services such as provision of meals, cleaning, laundry, teleassistance and leisure activities.
Home care services
A service designed for people with limited autonomy in carrying out daily activities: hygiene, shopping, preparing meals...
Radars
A project that enables elderly people to continue living in their homes thanks to a support and monitoring network in their immediate environment, in which neighbours, associations and services participate.
Vincles BCN
A social innovation project that aims to strengthen social relations and put an end to elderly people’s unwanted solitude, using new technologies. A tablet and app enable users to communicate with their friends and family as well as Vincles user groups.
