The systemic crises that characterise the modern world can be seen as a consequence of the generalisation of subjectivity fabricated by capitalism which evacuates the values of alterity, singularity and difference. With the aim of overturning this impoverishment, Félix Guattari redefines ecosophy as a project that may lead to the proliferation of sustainable ethics wherein art plays a crucial role, inasmuch as it transforms sensibility and co-produces subjectivity. In Recomposicions maquíniques [Machinic recompositions], curator Christian Alonso puts to the test a conception of art understood as a politics of experimentation and an ecosophical pragmatics that favours new ways of thinking, feeling and exploring life's infinite possibilities.
