Finestres de la memòria is a project about social interaction promoted by Centre Cultural La Casa Elizalde Cultural Centre to recuperate the historic memory of the Dreta de l’Eixample neighbourhood and reinforce its identity. The project consist of collecting photographs from all different sources in the area, from neighbours, institutions, associations, shopkeepers, schools, and so on. They are pictures that transport us back in time, windows that open onto the past, images that accompany us through life and that are so often hidden away in albums or boxes, but that help us to understand who we are today. Little treasures passed down from generation to generation that hide forgotten stories. Help us to remember. Together we can rebuild the memory of Dreta de l'Eixample.
