Epistolari Albert Manent & Vicenç Riera Llorca

Co-edition with
Publicacions de l'Abadia de Montserrat

Despite their generational, social, cultural, aesthetic and political differences, the writers Albert Manent (Premià de Dalt, 1930 - Barcelona, 2014) and Vicenç Riera Llorca (Barcelona, 1903 -Pineda de Mar, 1991), exiled in Mexico for 30 years, were condemned to coincide in the defence of our country and its most genuine representations, namely our language and culture. In the course of nearly a hundred letters the tenacity and obstinacy of these two figures, in creating and maintaining links between the exiles and Catalonia in the dark period of the Franco dictatorship, becomes clear.
