The Barcelona theatre company Kamchàtka has come home to bring to La Mercè 2024 a classic work of contemporary street arts, Kamchàtka , a show that playfully blurs the boundaries between reality and fiction.
Eight characters (who are as likely to be travellers as immigrants) who have got lost in the city walk around and interact with the audience, embarking on a dialogue in which both parties are involved in the resulting exchange and experimentation.
Kamchàtka becomes a mirror that reflects society's behaviour towards others, outsiders, those who are different. What is our attitude in the face of other realities? How do we act? And how do we want to act in the future?
