Agreement to include social clauses in public procurement

Inclusion. The ceremony forms part of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, on 3 December.

Collaboration agreement with the Forum for Socially Responsible Procurement to promote the inclusion of social clauses in public contracts and incentivise accessibility and the social and labour integration of people with disabilities. The ceremony comes within the context of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, on 3 December.

The City Council will be advised by the Forum for Socially Responsible Procurement to strengthen social policies, create labour insertion polices for people with difficulties and strengthen and promote the social economy in the city. A joint monitoring commission will also be created to define, promote and capitalise on action and resolve incidents.

Every year the City Council increases its annual municipal goals through the Commission for Public Procurement, and this year the minimum quantity should be eleven million euros.

International Day of Persons with Disabilities

International Day of Persons with Disabilities is on 3 December. Like every year, the façade of the City Hall, some of the district offices and springs in squares and gardens in the city will be decorated in orange to mark the occasion.

Organisations and district councils will be offering all sorts of recreational activities and activities to convey a message, such as a flashmob in the districts, theatre and dance shows, debates, lectures, exhibitions, workshops and concerts. Most of these are free.
