This service, with the support of Fundació Ajuda i Esperança, is available 24 hours a day. There’s also an active service point to support those closest to people at risk of suicide.
A team of five trained and selected volunteers takes calls from anyone experiencing suicidal thoughts or behaviours. The 900 925 555 helpline is coordinated and supervised by a group of psychologists and a committee of experts.
There’s also an active support point designed to help relatives, friends and work colleagues close to people at risk of suicide, as well as survivors. The service is managed by the Associació Catalana per a la Prevenció del Suïcidi (ACPS) y Després del Suïcidi – Associació de Supervivents (DSAS) and located in the Barcelona Ciuda space, and their contact number is 934 132 121.
The 900 925 555 helpline and the support point are part of the Suicide Prevention Strategy that was launched in 2020.
