Sanguijuelas del Guadiana és una banda formada per tres joves extremenys, Carlos, Juan i Víctor, que van començar a tocar per diversió durant la seva infància al seu poble, Casas de Don Pedro. Criats en un entorn rural, la seva passió per la música va créixer interpretant cançons de bandes com Extremoduro i Nirvana. Després de mudar-se a Càceres i Madrid per continuar els seus estudis, mai van abandonar el seu projecte musical i van decidir tornar al seu poble per consolidar-se com a grup.
