PARTICIPATION IN CONSORTIA AND FOUNDATIONS
The majority of Barcelona's cultural facilities were civil society or City Council iniciatives and their construction was the result of investment by the various public administrations. Current funding and management of most cultural facilities is based on an agreement model, the consortium.
Each consortium include representatives, according to the ownership of each facility, as well as those of Barcelona City Council and other administrations.
Through the Culture Institut, Barcelona City Council takes part in the following consortia and foundations:
