Christmas and commerce
Christmas around the shops!
Barcelona’s neighbourhoods fill with music, theatre, dance, children’s workshops and much more over the festive season.
This festive season, the city’s retail associations, together with the Directorate for Retail, Restaurants and Food, are once again offering up a hundred-some cultural, leisure and arts activities so that everyone can enjoy Christmas with the city’s establishments.
This Christmas, Barcelona will once again be brimming with interactive activities for families and all audiences, including music, theatre, dance, comedy, children’s workshops and more. Don’t miss out!
This year, the clown Senyor Alaguait will be performing his show Històries d’un drapaire in the districts’ shopping hubs. Live music will be provided by the shows Ràdio Nadal by Quartet a veus, Nadal Rumbero by Landry, and Balkan Rhythms by the Balkan Quintet. And Brasstreet Boys (BSB) and the Basin Dixie Street Band will get the shopping hubs dancing with their fanfare.
Creative souls will enjoy Tot s’hi bag, a workshop run by Koala in which anyone can design their own bag using stamps and fabric paint. Other activities will include a Christmas wreath workshop led by Muguet and the Nadala Floral workshop, facilitated by Susana Nettleton. The stories in Lilliput, a show by Tombs Creatius, will add a generous serving of fun and imagination to your shopping experience.
You’ll have all these activities close to home again this year. Don’t miss it!
