The ideal Piromusical by... Rosalia!

Hi ha qui pensa que el moment del comiat sempre és trist, però si parlem de la Mercè, la cosa canvia. El final de la festa, en forma de gran espectacle de ciutat, és un dels moments més esperats i més seguits. Enguany, aquest últim acte de la Mercè, el Piromusical, serà singular per raons diferents, entre les quals la selecció sonora que acompanyarà els focs artificials, el dia 24 de setembre a les 22 h.

L’avinguda de Maria Cristina s’omplirà un any més d’uns espectadors i espectadores que enguany no es trobaran un Piromusical convencional, sinó un Piromusical d’autora. I quina autora! Rosalía és ara mateix una de les artistes més populars del planeta i la música que fa s’escolta als quatre racons de món.

Quin Piromusical haurà imaginat l’autora de Motomami? Segur que l’artista n’ha conegut més d’un i segur que té al cap la banda sonora ideal per acompanyar l’espectacle d’explosions, llum i color que omplirà un any més el cel barceloní. La voleu sentir? Doncs no us perdeu el Piromusical d’enguany.

Com cada any, la festa tindrà la participació de la Pirotècnica Igual, una empresa barcelonina amb més de 120 anys d’experiència que ha organitzat grans efectes pirotècnics en celebracions arreu del món, entre els quals les cerimònies dels Jocs Olímpics de Barcelona 92, d’Atenes 2004 o de Londres 2012.

Some people think that the farewell moment is always sad, but if we talk about La Mercè, things change. The end of the festival, in the form of a great city show, is one of the most awaited and most followed acts. This year, the last event of La Mercè, the Piromusical, will be unique for different reasons, among them the sound track that will accompany the fireworks, on 24 September at 10 pm.

Avinguda de Maria Cristina will be filled once again with spectators who will not find a conventional pyromusical, but an author’s pyromusical. And what an author! Rosalía is now one of the most popular artists on the planet and her music is heard in all four corners of the world.

What kind of show has Motomami’s author in mind?  Surely the artist has attended more than one and surely she has an ideal soundtrack to accompany the spectacle of explosions, light and colour that will fill Barcelona’s sky for yet another year. Do you want to hear it? Then don’t miss this year’s Piromusical.

As every year, the festival will have the participation of Pirotècnica Igual, a Barcelona company with more than 120 years of experience that has organised great pyrotechnic effects in celebrations all over the world, including the ceremonies of the Olympic Games in Barcelona 92, Athens 2004 and London 2012.

Last year, the Piromusical already included a soundtrack of the highest modernity, celebrating the thirtieth anniversary of Sónar with a selection of music selected by the festival’s programmers. This year, however, it will be one of the most international Catalan artists who will act as a selector to provide the best music for one of the last acts of the Festa Major in Barcelona.
