The VOZES symphony orchestra and Maria Hinojosa will be performing at La Mercè with a tribute to the Catalan soprano Victòria dels Àngels, who continues to inspire generations of musicians and singers.

VOZES have been driving social change through music since 2004. The project offers free music activities for groups at risk of social exclusion. With over 700 participants in all, VOZES demonstrates that creativity is essential for human development, at the same time fostering values such as tolerance, solidarity and self-esteem.

The young Catalan soprano Maria Hinojosa, who already has an outstanding career performing at the most prestigious theatres and venues around the world, with a voice that has shone at El Liceu, L’Auditori and the Palau de la Música, unites her great talent with the VOZES project to pay tribute to Victòria dels Àngels at La Mercè, marking her centenary.
