Rebe is a misplaced doll who produces murmurs, shouts and chords that have been used thousands of times in the tradition of Spanish songs, but now threaded with interferences that seem to get in from a nearby fair or a faraway forest.

Rebe offers ballads with deformed sounds and pop songs that make it tricky to put her work into a specific genre. She explains legends about herself, theatrical love tangles that are sweet, bitter, ridiculous, ardent and catastrophic, with Rebe herself at the centre of them.

As a doll she’s misleading, as it’s her who plays with you once she’s got your attention. She appears to simply be looking in the mirror, but at the same time she’s captivating and making her audience uncomfortable, aiming for her spectators to look at themselves and making fun of them.
