08880

R&B , soul and pop - Cubelles

Escenari L’ Harmonia

Space reserved for people with reduced mobility

Imagine a party where the main guests are memes and stickers, where there's lots of spontaneity in the air, and masses of warmth, attitude and fun. And right in the middle of all these festivities, Virts new project OKDW begins to play, a mix of styles ranging from RB, soul and jazz to the most contemporary pop. 08880 is OKDW’s début album, an album that confirms the feeling that everyone’s here to enjoy themselves, to dance, laugh and generally have a blast. But in this album you'll also find that there's space for reflection on issues related to the LGBTI+ community and mental health, while at the same time it serves as a short survival manual for coping with the fast-pace of the society in which we live. It’s essentially all about Generation Z. OKDW is about knowing how to set limits, moving your arse, being sassy, having attitude, doubting yourself, breaking eggs, breaking the mould, oversized clothes, asking questions rather than finding answers, soul, RBB, pop, Shrek, messenger, stickers, memes, music that speaks of realities outside the box in mainstream Catalan music, enchiche, team family, friendliness, the colour blue (R=0, G=20, B=204), caring about aesthetics and the design of everything.
