Magalí Datzira is a young double bass player, singer and composer from Barcelona, with a unique style based around jazz, but which includes different influences such as funk, electronic pop, highly intimate and Mediterranean sounds along with urban rhythms.

Her first solo album was Des de la cuina, which brought her significant public and critical acclaim. Magalí is set to reappear in the autumn of 2024 with a new disc called La salut i la bellesa, which she will performing for the first time at the Mercat de Música Viva de Vic.

Magalí Datzira will be joined by an exceptional band at La Mercè 2024: Vernat on guitars, David Gimeno on drums, Toni Mora on piano and Iscle Datzira on sax.
