Directe Carpa Negra
Fragmented rock - Vic
Escenari Fabra FiC
Space reserved for people with reduced mobility
Carpa Negra is all about bringing things together: fragmented rock with the living word, torrents of music and lyrics that give freedom, that embrace risk and a lack of interest in static formulas. A powerful live performance full of vocal and musical short circuits that generates an unforgettable buzz.
The poet Oriol Sauleda, juggler, experimenter and conduit between worlds, pours his energy into live performances of unstoppable force, and has found an amazing ally in Carpa Negra: a freewheeling group that emerged from La Clota, a self-managed space in the tanneries of Vic. Arnau Musach's guitar, Llull Riba's drums and Arnau Comas' trombone. Marcel Pujols on saxophone and Llull Riba on drums have also played, as well as other poets such as Núria Martínez Vernis, Anna Maluquer, Guim Valls and Raquel Santanera, because this group is a living, undefined organism that constantly mutates, shunning all things closed, and this is what makes their work so alive. They have no CDs and no photos; their lyrics are unscripted, and the melodies change at every concert. Carpa Negra is the flag of a pirate ship in search of peace.
