Barcelona’s music schools are back at La Mercè for another year, with the Escoles de Música Jam Sessionat the stage in the Jardins del Doctor Pla i Armengol, offering a Big Band made up of students and teaching staff.

Under the baton of Miguel Ángel Ortín, this outfit will be taking us on a musical journey through rock, funk, jazz and swing. Their songlist will allow us to relive the hits of Black Sabbath, Stevie Wonder, Electro Deluxe, Shirley Bassey, Bruno Mars and others.

Jam Session, which started life in 1998, is a pioneering school in the Spanish state for rock, urban music and new trends, made up of two centres: the Escola de Música Jam Session and the Escola Superior de Música Jam Session.
