Alejandra Cárdenas, known as Ale Hop, and Laura Robles, based in Berlin, present AGUA DULCE at the BAM 2024. A musical experience connecting the past and the present, traditional music and innovative music, offering a modernised vision of Peruvian cultural wealth.

While the artists grew up in Lima, they made their artistic name in Germany, where their work deconstructs traditional rhythms from the Peruvian coast.

With a special focus on the rhythm box of Laura Robles, they bring us dance rhythms such as the landó, the lamentoand the zamacueca, mixed with the abstract electronic music of Alejandra Cárdenas.
