Recruitment process launched for 60 places with the Barcelona Fire Service
Applications for the competitive entrance exams can be made from 20 March to 8 April. The main change in this process is that candidates will be required to hold a baccalaureate qualification or similar to join the Barcelona Fire Service. The reserve of 25% of places to promote women’s access to the corps again applies.
The recruitment process consists of competitive entrance exams and is open to anybody who meets the requisites set out in the terms and conditions of the call.
The first test in the selection process will be held in the last quarter of the year. The goal of the City Council is for the process to be completed a year later at the end of 2026 so that successful candidates can start the corresponding training at the Institute for Public Security of Catalonia.
