As the clock struck midnight, ushering in the new year, drones drew a bunch of 12 grapes in the sky. Twelve spectacular fireworks marked the twelve chimes and the light and firework display brought to life the show Desig Barcelona: from the here and now, to celebrate life, to celebrate Barcelona.

Groupe F is a production company that designs and carries out pyrotechnic shows and open air theatrical works with drones. Founded 30 years ago by Christophe Berthonneau, this renowned company is formed of a multidisciplinary team of 270 people and carries out light and pyrotechnic shows around the world, such as the biggest drone show ever seen in Europe in the port of Geneva or the Expo 2030 celebration in Saudi Arabia. This year, the French company will be delivering New Year’s shows in Burj Khalifa (Dubai), by the Arc de Triomphe (Paris) and in Kula (Serbia).
