Electric-vehicle charging with Endolla Barcelona rose considerably during the first six months of 2023: the total number of recorded instances of electric-vehicle charging from January to June came to 68,265, up by 40% on the same period in 2022. The Spanish State’s leading electro-mobility network, it now has 18,000 users, up by 32% on the previous year, has 717 charging points available.

The Barcelona de Serveis Municipals (BSM) electro-mobility network, Endolla Barcelona, continues to set new records. The first six months of this year saw 68,265 recorded instances of electric vehicle charging, up by 40% on the same period in 2022. These figures represent a new historical landmark since the service first came into operation launched.

The number of people using Endolla Barcelona every day has also risen. It now has 17,992 users, up by 32.5% on the previous year.

Offering 717 charging points, Endolla Barcelona is currently the biggest public electro-mobility network in the Spanish State, with a 96% average availability of service. A thousand charging points are expected to be operational by the end of the year. The new points will be located in the Aparcaments BSM Network, where 7 out of every 10 points are concentrated.

Barcelona is the second largest city in Europe in number of charging points per km2, after Stockholm; and the fourth largest in number of points per resident, after Stockholm, Gothenburg and Oslo.
