Tibidabo received 8.3% more visitors this summer
The amusement park wraps up the summer season with 223,00 visitors over the 45 days it was open in July and August. One of the main attractions at Tibidabo this summer was Merlí, the new free fall attraction that opened on 27 July, which has already been enjoyed by 40,800 people.This summer’s big event at Tibidabo was the inauguration of Merlin, and visitors also enjoyed other new attractions this season like the debut of 4D shows and films at the Marionetàrium and Cine Dididado, the immersive night Laser Show with lights, colours and music and new dining venues.
This summer also gave many visitors the chance to explore some of the attractions and spaces Tibidabo has opened in recent months, such as the new Espai 665 terror experience or Sala Creatibi by Lego Education, an educational initiative in collaboration with Abacus Educació that aims to encourage young children to enjoy the wonders of science.
The school year kicks off with a series of charitable, educational and cultural events
As the school year begins, Tibidabo has ended its summer season and returned to its usual weekend schedule. In addition to its regular attractions and entertainment, the amusement park will host a series of educational, charitable and cultural events throughout September. Highlights include Fundación Migranodearena’s Uncopdemà charity party to support vulnerable children, Afanoc’s event for children and teenagers with cancer, ‘Posa’t la gorra’, a new conference to promote gender-informed research, and the Jornada Casa de la Sardana dance.
