An analysis of 75% of invoices from some market stalls which contracted services with Barcelona Energia demonstrates that their annual electricity costs are down by 18% on average, representing a saving or roughly 462 euros every year.

That saving is also environmental, as the change to 100% renewable energy means markets have reduced their carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions by 280 tonnes a year.
