Free-time summer activities for Barcelona’s children and teenagers, with ‘T’estiu molt 2021’
The summer activity programme for children and teenagers offers 353,097 places and over a thousand options for sports, culture and leisure. In addition, subsidies for vulnerable families applying for places has been increased by 15%, with a total of 3,45 million euros available.With 491 organisations involved, the municipal summer activity campaign T’estiu molt offers a wide array of options for children and teenagers up to the age of 17 to take part in sports, culture and leisure activities to stimulate learning and enable them to have fun in the summer holidays.
The registration period opens on 24 April.
Over a thousand activities
The summer campaign includes adapted activities for minors with disabilities, with full prevention measures in place to prevent the transmission of Covid-19:
- Campus Olímpia sports activities
- Nursery school activities for infants up to the age of 3
- Camps
- Summer activity camps
- Sports routes
- Art workshops
- Family activities
The range of activities will be subject to the evolution of the health situation and the indications and restrictions decreed by the authorities.
Subsidies for vulnerable families
The range of subsidies for low-income families has been increased by 15% compared to last year, with 3.45 million euros available in funding. Subsidies will be available for a maximum of one activity per child, who must officially reside in Barcelona.
The application period is from 24 April to 21 May.
