New municipal job pools are being opened up for fourteen professional categories with the City Council, from administrative assistants to senior specialists in architecture, law and medicine. The application period for this call is open until 15 April.
The new call to boost the job pools is looking for professionals in the following categories:
- Administrative assistant
- General administration manager
- Library assistant/specialist CBB
- Architecture specialist
- Bibliography specialist CBB
- Social education specialist
- Engineering specialist
- Nursing specialist
- Social work specialist
- Senior architecture specialist
- Senior data science specialist
- Senior law specialist
- Senior medicine specialist
- Senior ICT specialist
5% of places in each category are reserved for people with disabilities. Besides the specific requisites and qualifications required for each professional category, there are some general criteria that need to be met:
- Spanish nationality or equivalent
- Over 16 and below the obligatory retirement age
- Not being a professional civil servant or permanent worker with Barcelona City Council in the same category
- Candidates should not have been fired, stood down from the service, disqualified or similar
Calendar and tests
The terms and conditions for boosting the job pools will entail the following tests:
- Aptitude test
- Office technology test
- Foreign language test
- Catalan language test (C1)
- Spanish language test (B2)
- Personality and skills tests
Tests will be organised in a period of 3 to 6 months.
