Based on iconic choreographies from films produced during the disco years (70s and 80s), Sweet Precarity draws an analogy between dance as ecstasy and evasion and dance as work and profession. The show takes in a palindromic structure that functions as a deformed mirror: it extends and distorts the relationship between these two aspects of dance and leads us to reflect on our own work and existential realities.
