Pop, rock, soul, folk and a host of other rhythms, often clearly connected to roots music, fill the BARTS concert hall for four intense weeks.
Carles Sanjosé, a musician from L’Empordà, revisits the traditional songs of his grandparents’ generation in Girona and gives them a new life in collaboration with Carles Belda and his diatonic button accordion, and the contributions of Coloma Beltran on violin and the multi-instrumentalist Jordi Casadesús. It is Càntut, a musical journey ranging from tradition to the vanguard.
