The time when he was half of El último de la fila, one of the most successful groups on the Barcelona music scene in the 1980s and 90s, are far behind him. He has long been on a solo career featuring excellent music, sung in Catalan. But what are the tracks that have most inspired Quimi Portet? We’ll hear them in a concert featuring songs ranging from folk to disco and even techno. Backed by his usual band, Portet will perform music from our own country, but also from around the world, including the likes of PJ Harvey and – why not? – Devo. A journey through music and feeling to create a soundtrack for a life that is, no doubt, also your own.
