In line with the trip to the Grec Festival of Barcelona, during July the Filmoteca has programmed a cycle made up of Australia and New Zealand films or those that take place in the antipodes.
In 1931, three mestizo girls escape from an Australian government institution where they want to educate them to turn them into servants at the service of the white society of the moment. Their long journey home shows us the treatment the original inhabitants of Australia received between 1869 and 1976.
